New tying machine: more respect for
the vine and the environment. A machine designed by the viticulture
sector for viticulturist!

Under the action of the sun, the biodegradable ties allow for
easy removal of the wire using the mechanical spooling system,
resulting in significant timesaving.
This operation is facilitated by the biodegradable wire which
is much smoother than the ordinary sort.
Lifting: Two hydraulic-driven rubber belts lift
the vegetation. A thumbwheel sets the revolving speed according
to the forwarding speed.
The vegetation is not damaged thanks to the flexibility of the
belts.
Tying: Tying is triggered by a button in the
driving cab. It uses a two-armed tying device with the left arm
serving as a magazine. There are 300 staples which can cover
about 1,000m˛. A double action jack allows opening the tying
device at each post.
Wire brake : A shrewd wire-braking system is
coupled with an electromagnet. It is controlled from the driver
cab, ensuring the necessary tension in the wire at the end of
each row without breaking it and facilitating the knotting. The
machine still uses polypropylene wire but a biodegradable wire
is in the testing phase.
Hydraulics :the machine needs a minimum of 12
litres per minute. It is placed on a tractor equipped with a
single-acting free-return valve and three double-acting valves
for the material and the settings for inclination and height.
A high-clearance tractor will need two double-acting valves.
